HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 USING PEN DRIVE
This article will teach you how to install Windows 7 using your Flashdrive. It steps you through using Windows Command Prompt to format your USB drive correctly.
STEPS
1.Insert pendrive in the usb port click on START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>COMMAND PROMPT>(right click) RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
2.Enter the following commands in the MS DOS window.
DISKPART
LIST DISK
3.In the list, find the disk number of your USB drive. Enter that number instead of red colored number in the following command. Here the disk number is shown as 1. (See image for detail)
SELECT DISK 1
CLEAN
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
SELECT PARTITION ACTIVE (Using Win7 SELECT PARTITION=1 and then ACTIVE)
FORMAT FS=NTFS (format process may take some time)
ASSIGN
EXIT
4.Don't close the command prompt now!
5.Insert the windows DVD in drive and see the letter of your DVD drive and USB drive in "my computer" window and use those letters instead of red colored letters in following commands.
D: CD BOOT (D is the drive letter of DVD drive)
CD BOOT
BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 H: (H is the letter of pen drive)
6.Now exit command prompt and copy window DVD content on USB drive. Your pen drive is ready and you can boot windows with it but you need to change BIOS boot priority settings before starting installation.
7.Now You Are Done

Tips
- To quicken the formatting process, use "FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK"

- Selection of the the wrong disk in Step 3 can cause DATA LOSS on the wrong drive.
